The importance of protecting children during separations and divorces
Our colleagues Ana Martínez-Pampliega and Laura Merino took part in the 10th Positive Parenting Conference, organised by AMAPASE with the support of Vitoria-Gasteiz City Council. Their presentation, entitled Psychological impact of conflict on children and adolescents: intervention strategies in situations of family breakdown, separation or divorce, was delivered on 28 November 2023 in Vitoria-Gasteiz. As part of the event, they also appeared on Radio Vitoria to discuss this topic:

Our colleagues Ana Martínez-Pampliega and Susana Corral took part in the conference ‘Family promotion of healthy psychological development’ organised by BBK Family on 14 May 2020.
Presentation of the guide “Emotional care for the baby and their family in the first year”
On 5 May 2021, our colleagues Leire Iriarte and Leire Gordo presented a guide developed by a group of perinatal mental health professionals from the Spanish Society of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychotherapy (SEPYPNA), which included members of the COP Bizkaia Perinatal Working Group. The guide aims to provide an integrated perspective on infant development, bringing together emotional development and the foundations of early childhood growth through the daily care and support received by babies and their parents during the first stages of life.
